Using the following modalities:

Transpersonal Psychotherapy

My Master’s Degree is in Integral Counseling Psychology, with a transpersonal approach. Most therapists include the head and the heart; Transpersonal Therapy doesn’t stop there. It includes your spirit and soul. It includes the big picture, the zoomed-out, eagle-eye view. All of you.

*Transpersonal psychology is a sub-field or "school" of psychology that integrates the spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience with the framework of modern psychology. It is also possible to define it as a "spiritual psychology". The transpersonal is defined as "experiences in which the sense of identity or self extends beyond (trans) the individual or personal to encompass wider aspects of humankind, life, psyche or cosmos".

Somatic Psychotherapy

Most experiences don't stop at the head or heart, or even at the spirit and soul. Most experiences also happen in the body. This is especially true of trauma. Trauma can get trapped in the body.

*Somatic psychology is a form of alternative medicine that focuses on somatic experience, and the embodied self, including therapeutic and holistic approaches to body. Body psychotherapy is a general branch of this subject, while somatherapy, eco-somatics and dance therapy, for example, are specific branches of the subject. Somatic psychology is a framework that seeks to bridge the mind-body dichotomy.

Coaching Psychotherapy

Coaches tend to be more direct, hands-on and result-oriented. Using my training as a Coach, I can be more direct and practical when this is wanted or called for.

*Coaching is the process of helping people identify and achieve personal goals. Although life coaches may have studied counseling psychology or related subjects, a life coach does not act as a therapist, counselor, or health care provider, and psychological intervention lies outside the scope of life coaching.

Note: Because Jenni has both training as a coach and a degree and license in psychotherapy, she integrates both of these modalities.

Relational Technique

We will use our client/therapist relationship to improve the way you connect in your relationships outside of therapy.

*Relationship counseling is the process of counseling the parties of a human relationship in an effort to recognize, and to better manage or reconcile, troublesome differences and repeating patterns of stress upon the relationship. The relationship involved may be between members of a family or a couple, employees or employers in a workplace, or between a professional and a client.

Experiential Technique

We will use the fullness of your current life experiences to effect the change in your life that you seek.

Pragmatic Technique

We will take sensible and realistic actions. During your treatment, I often suggest practical ideas and concepts, like homework, rather than only using theoretical considerations.
